…since I checked in here!
My days are busy with the things I love and I mostly use Instagram which I find a lovely way to share quick photos with friends and family. You can find me there as Kate Jackson Textiles. I also have a temporary blog called Sixty Times Around The Sun which is to record the challenges I have set myself for this – my 60th year. You can check that out if you like – though be warned – there aren’t sixty! Not yet – you can set me a challenge if you like.
Here today though, I will tell you about my forthcoming weekend. I will be teaching several books making classes to the Durham Embroiderers Guild. I am really looking forward to meeting them all and making some interesting new books.
So as I am in BOOKS mode at present, I am offering two full day workshops at my home workshop making Sewn Spine Journals on 24th September and again on the 25th September I would love it if you could join me.
This will be the last course offered before the Central Heating is installed in my ancient cottage! I promise you will be warm during the workshops, but after October, it won’t be such a chore to keep you (and me) warm!
Students can come and see my baby ducks!
